The Tooling and Manufacturing Association (TMA)

CARR Machine & Tool, Inc. has been a member of the TMA since

1973.  Within recent years it has taken on a greater degree of participation in order to help further the goals of the TMA to educate and inform its 1250 members of opportunities and trends within their business scope.

President, Jim Carr, has been an active member of a Commercial Peer Group of high-level executives and business owners who meet regularly throughout the year for roundtable discussions of their current state of business with a main emphasis on sales and marketing.

Jim Carr has also volunteered in The Business Management Committee [a caucus of members that meets to develop educational and leisure activities for members throughout the year]

Jim has retained TMA’s Marketing Director, Kent Gladish, as an ongoing consultant to assist with sales and marketing initiatives, including, but not limited to website articulation, search engine optimization, pay-per-click campaigns, target market leads, trends and technology awareness.  Jim is also an active member of Kent’s CMS-SIG network.
