Vertical Machining
CARR Machine & Tool can produce parts with the most rigid tolerances utilizing the integration of high-tech machine tools, state-of-the-art tooling, and a slick, sophisticated CAD/CAM system. As an example of our typical tolerance requirements, imagine splitting a human hair eight times. This would yield a .0005 tolerance requirement—a requirement that we adhere to on a daily basis for our customers.
Our standard protocol meets the requirements of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), ISO Metric Tolerances, MIL specs and standards including geometric tolerances such as flatness, squareness, parallelism, concentricity, micro finish, and cylindricity. We can easily manufacture parts from Imperial, metric, and hybrid measurements. If any of these requirements appear on your print, we guarantee your part will be manufactured to these standards. Integrated setups utilizing our fourth and fifth axis indexers minimize the number of setups needed on your job in order to maintain the strict tolerances you demand.
Since our facility is located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, home to the largest consolidated business park in North America, we have access to thousands of quality outsourcing providers for chrome and nickel plating, all heat treat processes, anodizing (all color), oxidizing, Teflon impregnation, (all) nondestructive testing, commercial painting, passivation and many more.
When customers need quality, precision machining, they think of CARR Machine & Tool. We’re advancing expectations in precision!
