A letter from our president
I grew up in a machine shop where culture wasn’t discussed—it was endured. The work got done, but the environment was rigid, transactional, and disconnected from the people doing the work. When I stepped into leadership, I knew early on that if CARR was going to thrive long term, that mindset had to change. Precision machining demands discipline, but it doesn’t require sacrificing humanity.
Building a better culture became intentional. We chose respect over intimidation, accountability over fear, and teamwork over silos. Our people aren’t headcount—they’re craftsmen, problem-solvers, parents, partners, and teammates who show up every day and take pride in what they build.
At CARR, our team members are an extension of our family. We care about their well-being, their families, and yes—even their dogs. Because life doesn’t stop at the shop door. When people feel valued, heard, and respected, they do their best work.
